AUSTIN 2 WIN! What a great experience I had from start to finish. I called in on a Saturday afternoon and spoke with such a helpful woman who set me up with an appointment that afternoon. Austin rolled up on schedule and was just so personable, knowledgeable, and helpful! He got the fix sorted for me and provided sensible and helpful insights into my garage door situation. He was awesome! I wish every interaction with a company and its staff could be like this.

We called a different company first, being new to the area & had an appointment set. Two days before the garage door motor began to simply buzz (think transformer noise) & blink incessantly, but the door would not open. I ended up having to pull the safety rope & good Lord is this door heavy. The other company called with 1/2 hour notice, that they needed to push the appointment to another day. That would not work for us due to our work schedule & so we reached out to Precision Door, after doing some research on highly rated garage door repair companies & are we glad we did!!! First Precision Door answered our call immediately & forgive me we didn't the very nice ladies name who helped us, but she was able to make an appointment for the next day. In fact, she tried to get someone out to us that evening, but the work schedule thing wouldn't allow it. The next day happened to be Saturday & we were scheduled for 8a-10a. We also received a picture of the technician who would be coming out. Saturday at around 745a we received a call from Austin Z. advising he would be at our place a few minutes early. Austin showed exactly when he said he would (~755a) & immediately got to work diagnosing the problems. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable & quickly identified all the problems, giving us a very clear idea of what we were looking at. Unfortunately for us, what we thought was going to be a simple fix (i.e., replace or repair the door opener) ended up being a mess. We'd just bought the home & didn't realize how bad the springs, one of the bearing end caps (leaking grease), the bent, u-shaped rail & a door opener motor that was completely seized. Austin wasn't phased in the slightest, immediately provided us with a fair quote & get this, had all the parts necessary on the truck to do the work! Now you might be saying to yourself, oh this poor sap got oversold, but let me put your mind at ease. Every one of the issues identified was absolutely the case & the price quoted was more than competitive to 1) replace the extremely underpowered springs (hence why the door was so darned heavy), which lead to 2) a very bent rail from a 3) seized 2010 Liftmaster motor that was sorely underpowered & forced to work too hard for who knows how long, exasperated by 4) grease leaking out of a bearing on one of the end caps, all of which was completed in less than two hours. This is how all companies should operate! The unit installed is Wifi capable & was very simple to setup, we got a new keypad, programmed, ready to go & two openers included as well. Additionally, the motor is warrantied for life, with a belt driven rail where the belt itself is warrantied for 15 years & all the work done on the bearings & springs guaranteed for 90 days (workmanship), no questions asked. By the way the door now opens with the safety cord pulled, with literally two fingers. I can't believe what a difference the new springs made. Austin was truly awesome, a real professional & in this day and age (2024) where every company's service sucks, Precision Door's service really stands out & that is extremely important to us. Best of luck in getting your issues resolved at a fair price elsewhere, with excellent, friendly service. I am telling you if you need the BEST garage door company in the game, in my humble opinion look no further than Precision Door & Austin Z. I promise you won't be disappointed!!!

Mark St. Clair was our technician & he called to confirm his appointment & arrived on time. Mark helped us order a new keypad for our garage & installed new trim pieces & new door sealers on both doors. Mark took his time to do a quality install & answered all of our questions. We called Precision about a broken spring on our garage door and got an appointment within two hours that day. When our technician Mark St Clair arrived, he was friendly, with a sense of humor. He did an inspection of our problem, pointed out parts that were still good, then explained what needed repaired. His obvious honesty immediately put us at ease. He shared several suggestions with estimates on how the problem could be fixed and let us make the choice that was best for us. Never once did he try to sell us what we didn't need. He worked quickly, efficiently and even took care of a safety issue that the previous installer had missed. Mark made us feel like we were the most important client he had all day and we were very impressed with his professionalism. We will definitely be putting Precision on our "first to call" list anytime there is an issue in the future.

Tim C was able to replace the weatherstripping on our garage door in record time. He had to find the right weatherstripping because our door is outdated but he did that quickly and got back to us quickly. I would definitely recommend Tim C and Precision door.

I heard a loud snap when the garage door came down. It was late at night so I just went to sleep. Next morning I raised the door and heard a pop. Investigated and a lift wire broke on the right side. I have no clue how to fix this so went on line. Here it is 2pm and I need someone today but wouldn't charge me a arm and a leg. Came upon Precision Door. They had 4pm-6pm open. They explained a $75.00 fee to come out and inspect. so I booked it. Got a text that a technician Mark St. Clair is on his way. 4pm Mark shows up. Introduced himself. I explained and showed him the wire. He said he would inspect the entire system, then show me what he had found. He was very throug. He showed me everything he found. Explained what I could skip or what needed to be replaced. My garage door is 18 years old so I expected some age related problems. He gave me 3 choices and how much each would cost and broke down the cost so I can see how the amount came into being. I'm the type that wants it fixed, warranted and last for a long time so I chose the more expensive option but I know it is going to last. Mark had everything done within the hour and the $75.00 charge came off since I hired him to do the job. The garage door is so quiet now. Thank uou Mark and Precision Door

We originally called another company whom we had for service in the past, but no one returned our calls. So we called Precision. Our call was answered promptly, and within two hours, a service tech arrived at our home. Tyler Adkins was knowledgeable, personable, very competent; and explained what was needed to repair our door, and why. He completed the repairs in less than an hour.
