I chose Precision because of weekend availability..My technician was very professional explained all options completely..but in the end after doing research I found the cost too high for the job at hand and chose to go with another company .. I’m giving a two star rating again because of the costs involved

Max was our service technician. He was very friendly, professional, and detailed. And on time which is much appreciated. After talking, he provided a very complete quote and explained the available options for the LiftMaster 6690L. We briefly discussed another brand of opener. He stated that LiftMaster is much more reliable with fewer issues than other brands. However only one quote was offered and no other system was offered for comparison in performance or price. {I suppose I should have asked for a comparison quote}. He completed our installation very efficiently. The LiftMaster 6690L system operates very well. It is smoother and quieter than the old LiftMaster system that was removed. {It was original to my home but only 3 years old}. But not as quiet as I was hoping for. New rollers were installed but the door seems to continue to make popping sounds when traveling up or down. Can anything be done about that? I do have one major concern about the 6690L. It has a specialized designed LED light ring. What happens down the road when that LED light ring starts to have problems and needs replaced. And LiftMaster no longer offers it because they no longer produce it. LED lights do go bad much earlier than manufactures claim. I have not had good luck with LED lights. Most openers appear to use standard type light bulbs. Your comments please. Thank you, Gary Hulsey

Maxwell, the technician arrived on time, listened to my concerns about the doir, assessed the operation of the door and made a recommendation to replace and lubricate the rollers. He didn't have an answer to the issue of water dripping from the bottom of the door but said he would talk to some filks back at the shop to see if it was an issue anyone else had experienced. Overall was very pleased with Maxwell!!
