Our 20-year-old Dalton garage door finally gave up the ghost yesterday. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door Service, and they arrived this morning with everything needed (on the truck) to replace the old opener and spring system. The Tech Michael was excellent, professional, knowledgeable and meticulous. He had the old system replaced in under 4 hours. The difference is amazing. I am extremely pleased with the response time, the technition and the end results. I would recommend them highly.

Update: the company and the technician Tyler, ultimately worked hard to get the custom doors installed and working properly. Serving the customer and communicating to the customer is very very poor. The general manager would not answer or return phone calls or emails. The arrangement that we agreed upon was not what I received. Overall a bad experience. Wont recommend.

My garage door spring broke. I called as soon as I realized this, I called Precision Door. I was quickly connected to the local Akron division and had an appointment scheduled the next day. I got a text confirmation of my appointment right after hanging up the phone. The next day, I got a text from Tim as well as a call letting me know he was on his way. He arrived when he said he would, which was within the arrival time window quoted. Tim assessed the situation and informed me of what was needed and what it would cost. He completed the work, showed me what he did and confirmed everything was working correctly. He went over the paperwork with me (electronically) and had me sign and pay. I couldnt have had this experience go any better than it did. Great communication and setting expectations with great service snd execution.

My garage door was way out of line. I called and scheduled, but then I needed to go to emergency room (for me). I call ed back and gave my neighbor's phone for contact and told them to bill me (Iv'e used them and they have my contact info). The guys arrived (Paul) and said they could do nothing, the door needs replaced, said they had told me that 2 years ago (wrong). Then sat in their car, said they could not leave until paid the $80 service charge. My neighbor paid them. He felt they were just rtrying to sell a new door. I am very upset at how my neighbor was treated. Did they think I was scamming them?? Were they really from Precision?? I got home from hospital 3 hours later and my neighbor was still upset. I will never ever use or recommend Precision again. I certainly do not was a new door estimate from them! This appointment gets 0 stars.

Prompt, polite and professional. These folks rebuilt my garage door 17 1/2 years ago. The springs recently broke and they fully honored the lifetime warranty that I was given on the work. The technician, Garret, was super nice and efficient.

I have been around long enough to recognize superior service when I see it. I first encountered Precision in February 2018, when my garage door spring needed service. It would not shut and this company came out at 11p and fixed it, and did not try to gouge me. Fast forward to July 2018 when my garage door opener began smoking. Again, called Precision, and did they try to sell me a new opener, nope, they fixed the existing one, replaced my wall control, and programmed two new opener remotes that I did not even buy from them. Listen, some companies chase profits and some focus on quality, and the business naturally comes, Precision is the latter. They have a customer for life and their guy, Tyler, is absolutely top class, pleasant, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. Don't waste your time with anyone else.
