I needed a new spring for my garage door. They came out the next day and said they have to do a 25 point check of my door before replacing the spring. I was told they could not put a new spring on because of liability. He then wanted to give me a price on a new door. I told him no way the door is fine and only needs a new spring. He charged me $75. Beware. They do not want to do any repairs only sell you a new door. I called a local door company and they put the new springs on for a reasonable price. I will let everyone I know about my experience with Precision door company.

We woke to a garage door that started to open and immediately close. On further inspection the one of the overhead springs had broken. Called Precision Garage Door of Akron and the scheduled a tech to come out that evening. Our tech, Austin Zink was on time and did a thorough inspection of the door and all hardware. He explained what needed to be done and started on it. My son and I were pleasantly surprised at how efficiently he had my garage door back to running order. Austin was courteous, professional and answered all our questions. Precision Garage Door of Akron really came through and got us back to new.

Our Techs name was Tyler A and Garreth. Both gentleman were polite, kept the area clean, and the job was completed efficiently. A spring repair was completed, as well as installation of a new lift master opener. When I called to schedule a service, I was informed that they could come the next day. I will say that the cost was a bit more than I anticipated, but the opener is very quiet.

We had a semi emergency with our garage door not wanting to close and and so we called Precision and they were able to send a technician same day and gave a time frame and our Technician Jack Graves was wonderful. He was good with communicating when he would be there and was able to solve the issue and now our garage closes better and even better open/closes so quietly where beforehand would wake the whole neighborhood.
