Mark St. Clair was the technician who came out. He is ver knowledgable, experienced and professional. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it very quickly. Was very honest and straightforward about the pricing. Worked quickly and garage door worked perfectly. Highly recommend Mark and Precision Door

Precision Garage Door service is a great company. My garage spring broke on Sunday, called them at 830am Monday morning and they service tech here by 10:15am that morning. The tech, Mark St. Clair greeting me kindly and showed me that my spring had indeed broken an d went over my options on what I can do to fix the issue. We went over all the options available and decided what was best for my 30 year old garage door, we went with a new spring and motor and rollers. Mark was very kind and efficient and answered all my questions. 2 hours later he was done and went over how everything works and then he was in his way. Precision Garage Door was easy to work with from calling the company to having them come out the same day.

Fantastic experience that couldnt have gone better. The office was very prompt in setting up an appointment and it happened to be the very next day to my surprise. The technician who was sent out Michael Reitenbach couldnt have been more knowledgeable and pleasant. He was very professional and his work ethic was stellar. All in all I would highly recommend them for a job well done!

My tech was Shaun Sweitzer. I called at 9:30 am on a Saturday morning and he was at my house by 10:15 am! My door stopped opening and my car was trapped inside. We needed a new system as it was original to the house. He was so nice and polite and in about 1 hrs and a half I had a new garage door system. Much quieter than the old one. The price scared me but everything is high these days. Would highly recommend Precision and Shaun!!

Great service! Precision Door answered an evening call when I returned home from a trip to a broken garage door. The spring broke when I tried to open the door with my remote and the door was stuck open 2 feet off the ground at an angle and would not close, even manually. Precision had their tech to my house for their first appointment at 8:00am the next morning. The only other company that responded at all did not call me back until 10:00am when my door was already fixed.

Last night around 8 my garage door broke, called into Precision around 8:30, tech Tyler A was here by 8:30 next morning. Unfortunately for me I needed a new door. He worked up a quote and it was I stick and will be installed tomorrow afternoon.

Mark did an awesome job. He replaced my broken springs and a few other items like worn out bearing. I called at 8 and he was here by 930 and finished by 11. The price was a little shocking but what isn't these days. But I haven't had to replace anything major since the door was installed in 1998.

I'll start with the positive. The technician was on time, nice and professional, and just doing his job. That's it. The rest: My 19 year old basic Wayne Dalton double garage door had the original internal spring break. Tech noticed a small dent (less than 3 inches) on the outside of the bottom panel, 1-inch was actually compromising the single layer of steel having an extremely small split in the metal. Apparently it's Precision policy that a door cannot be worked on if the door is "compromised," due to liability. The only solution offered to me was to buy a completely new door. I asked about replacing just the bottom panel - no. Repairing or reinforcing the split - no. There was no liability waiver I could sign. Cost of spring replacement would have been about $1,200. Full door started at $2,670 going up to $4,833. If that's their policy, fine. It's up to each customer to make their own decision and get multiple quotes, or not. But beware, this could be seen as predatory. The tech left. I called an actual local company that isn't a franchise of a national company like Precision. I asked if they'd replace the spring on a door with a 1" tear in the steel of the bottom panel. They said absolutely. I've since learned a Precision rep in Phoenix, AZ, was exposed by Dateline (in 2011 from my own Googling) for "overcharging for unnecessary repairs, high-pressure sales tactics, replacing parts that don't need replacing, poor quality workmanship, and not being upfront about pricing." I would absolutely call that my experience. The local door company ended up charging me $600 and I'm incredibly happy with the quality of work and quality of materials. That cost even includes reinforcement of the bottom panel. Proceed with caution.

Our technician was Shaun. Incredibly nice, professional, and thorough. Very easy to converse with about the work required and simplifies the work being done in his explanations. The prices are market average, so its going to cost whatever its going to cost. But Precision manufactures their own springs, which made me trust them a bit more. Shaun also finished the project in half the time he quoted me. 10/10 Highly recommend.

The crew who installed our new garage door were great.very polite, very professional and very friendly and answered all of our questions. The only negative was that when they removed the old door opener (which I had planned to save and possibly reuse down the road as it was only a couple years old) they cut off the wire that goes to the wall opening switch right at the top of opener where it goes down inside the opener and I dont think that theres enough room that I can reattach the wire to the opener so that it will be able to work. ButI obviously didnt make myself clear that I planned to reuse the old opener some day. Other than that all is good except I havent received our receipt via email yet. But they were great!
